We wanted to take this time to reach out to everyone and share an update on how things are going here at Amego.
First of all YES, We Are OPEN! We’ve been fortunate that the government of Canada (and the US) has recognized bike shops as "essential" to transportation infrastructure allowing us to remain open during this time. Our sales and service teams continue to support our amazing and valued community.
Many experts are viewing cycling as a safe way to avoid crowded public transportation systems and the citizens many North American cities appear to agree. Even, essential workers are now turning to electric bikes in urban centres to commute. On top of this during this crisis, cycling continues to offer a way to keep residents active and healthy - while keeping a safe distance from others.
In our Toronto location, we have taken the following measures to both protect you and our team while we continue to provide you with top notch sales and support.
- We are still maintaining regular business hours though we've temporarily closed our shop doors.
- Bikes and accessories can be purchased through our online shop and picked up at our storefront with a government ID.
- We are following safety guidelines and sanitizing bikes, parts and accessories to the best of our ability before they leave our shop.

Our online shop continues to stay strong and we are preparing and shipping orders daily. For those of you in the Toronto area, buying online and picking up in-store is still an option.

Be aware that we will only deliver bikes and items to the billing address unless we get written consent with a signature and a photo of their ID.
To ship to a secondary address you will need:
- A photo of the credit card holder's Government issued photo ID with that has their address.
- A letter, with their signature, which authorizes us to ship your item to the shipping address you indicated in your order or if you are picking up.
We apologize for this inconvenience and for any delays, however, this is has become necessary due to the overall amount of attempted fraud that has taken place online recently.
