Labour costs for warranty-related work - including diagnosis, parts installation, and cleaning - are charged at standard rates and are not included in the manufacturer's parts warranty.

Manufacturers may decline at any time
Labour costs apply at standard rates, same as consumer warranty service. Please review the documentation included with your e-bike for your manufacturer's complete warranty terms.

Warranty Submission Fees

A flat inspection and diagnosis fee applies when submitting a warranty claim. Your bike must be within its warranty period, under the mileage limit, and properly maintained.

E-bike not purchased from Amego EV $124.99

Part installation is billed separately. Commercial use bikes have a limited warranty period. Special order parts and manufacturer submissions may incur additional fees.

What Can Void Your Warranty

The following situations may reduce or eliminate your warranty coverage. When in doubt, contact us before making modifications or repairs.

  1. Commercial use without disclosure - using a consumer-purchased bike for delivery, courier, or rental services voids coverage.
  2. Unauthorised modifications - third-party batteries, chargers, or electrical components not approved by the manufacturer.
  3. Incompatible or non-original parts - alterations using parts not designed for your specific model.
  4. Improper storage or weather damage - including storing the bike outdoors or leaving the battery fully discharged over winter.
  5. Theft, vandalism, or intentional damage - Amego is not liable for damage occurring after delivery.
  6. Improper transport - loading beyond the 275 lb weight limit (including the bike), using unsupported car racks, or failing to secure the bike properly.
  7. Improper maintenance - failing to service the bike at regular intervals. Refer to your owner's manual for recommended schedules.
  8. Opened or disassembled electrical components - any unauthorised access to electrical systems voids related coverage.
  9. Unauthorised repairs - repairs by anyone not authorised by the manufacturer that result in further damage.
  10. High-pressure or improper cleaning - pressure washing electrical or mechanical components.
  11. Accident or crash damage - Amego does not cover damage resulting from collisions or falls.
  12. Third-party services or parts without prior approval - any repairs or replacements done without written agreement from Amego.
