I thought it was a bit expensive at first, but I'm a happy customer. I wanted a 48V/500W battery, after considering the cheaper ebikes with a 36Vbattery. I bought it mainly for commuting to work (8K), but used it this weekend for grocery trips. Love it. Even did a 40-degree-ish hill (I didn't think it would make it). Too early to comment on battery, I've been making two return trips to work (32K) before having to charge.
