The R1 Evo uses Sena's Mesh Intercom technology. This system allows you to communicate with an unlimited amount of other riders. In open terrain, you can speak to people up to 900 away. Still, this range can be extended up to 3.6 km between a minimum of 6 riders in open terrain.
Sena has fitted the R1 Evo with a built-in microphone and speakers. It allows you to communicate with as many riders as you need to within your group. Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity to your phone, you can even make and receive phone calls on the move.
The R1 Evo also allows you to use voice commands. A great example of this is turning on the helmet's built-in tail light by just talking to it.
